When will it get better

I don't want this blog to seem like a Liverpool bashing blog at all, but it seems its the only interesting thing in the news lately -big club gone wrong-.

As liverpool fans sit with fingers crossed and whispering prayers to themselves, the rest of the footballing world seems to have an opinion of the situation and a solution to the problems...some say rafa should go, some say its not his fault and its because of the injuries...

It is completely rafas fault, not building a side capable of seriously challenging without Torres and Gerrard playing at 100%...Both players might soon be requiring operations to solve their injuries worries. But even though it might be Rafa's fault, sacking him right now wont solve anything, it will just make things worse, in the short term at least...if things are truly in the shitter by end of December then i feel he should be sacked (new manager can sell or bring in players in jan) ... until then Pool fans can only sit with fingers crossed, and see what tomorrow brings - operation or n operation - , even though the club is sitting in intensive care and in serious need of surgery

  2. HA HA no host, i don't think this is becoming a liverpool bashing site, but i don't think a team of liverpool's stature to plunder in form and resilience can ever go ignored, this isn't a matter of something which happened over night, okay they lost the first time around, the second time we can undertstand, 3rd time a fan might have their hands up and wonder what the F@#$ and 2 more badwords is this BUT the 4th 5th and on going times. a serious note and mention has to be stated and restated.

  3. With that said, i have to ask cause i've only come up with little or few ways out of this for the gaffer.WHAT DO YOU DO, IF YOU ARE RAFA BENITEZ AT THIS POINT? WHERE DO YOU GO, WHO DO YOU CALL? WHAT'S THE ANSWER? because i see him on skysports and he should get the hell off the video light for a while, quit the whimpering, not act like we don't see he's at a loss of confidence himself, find something affirming and concentrate very very very hard on his nex following steps. is it too early for him to forget champions league, begin maintaining a steady pace in the league? carling cups already gone out the picture, so give the table everything for what it's left in it and challenge for that Fa Cup Trophy? i agree fans and outsiders need to quit jumping down his throat about what he's done in his tenure as manager, which buys and sales has been made, with whatever youth system has been implemented, CRAP! who cares just now? he can't correct those matters now, and the concern for those issues come with out the losses, rekindling those flames don't make it any easier and yet he has a job in front of him to correct the constant losses, if any team in the premier recognizes the low self esteem he will be used as a beating stick for matters to only be worsened. so my question, where do you go, what ideas does a manage of a liverpool ethos do you begin to implement?

  5. If Rafa is to get out of the hole he has dug for himself he needs to be strong, but he doesnt seem strong to me.. Hes soft.. And his team is soft.. I respect Rafa as a tactician, and he has proved many times that he is among the best tacticians in the European game, but as we all agree, the injuries are piling up and he has failed to build any sort of squad depth in his years. He cant fix that now, true, and personally i think their season is over. They are not going to win anything this year, and ill put plenty money on that. But as much as i believe Rafa is too soft for the premier league, and has failed horribly to build a squad, i dont think he is the root of the problem. Chinoman is right when he says start at the top, and having owners like Hicks and Gillet who dont even like each other, let alone agree on the path for the club is like a cancer eating away at the insides of the club. I would love to see them sell the club to the Arabs and think this would help a lot. Having a stable management structure is soo crucial, and is surely one of the reasons for Manchester Uniteds dominance in the EPL.

To sum it up, i think Rafa should be given time, but not with high expectations this season, and Hicks and Gillet should be run out of liverpool. They have done the club so much harm already, and i fear its only going to get worse with the recent results.

  6. liverpool getting eliminated from champions league may just be a blessing in disguise. if it happens they can focus on challenging for the premier league... i still haven't written them off.
